Collecting and sorting school supplies for Lake Forest Elementary School

Write cards for Israeli Soldiers

Make mezzuzot

Bake dog biscuits

Snacks and food sensory station

Write notes to our neighbors

Donate blood through Life South

Yoga sessions

Make get well cards

Wrap tefillin

Tour MACoM

Pack bagged lunches for the CAC

Attend demonstration by a sofer

Adult Education with Rabbi K at 10:15

Recycle items including paint, small electronics, household chemicals, batteries and printer cartridges

Lake Forest Elementary School Donation List

Drop off school supplies at Congregation B’nai Torah for our annual
Lake Forest Elementary School Supplies Drive!

All school supplies are welcome, but items in special need include:

* Spiral notebooks (wide-ruled)
* #2 wood pencils
* 2 pocket folders
* Glue sticks
* Clothing (gently used or new, sizes children’s 5T and up):
* Khaki, Navy or Black Pants
* Shorts or Skirts and any solid shirt with a collar

We are collecting supplies now through Mitzvah Festival on Sunday, August 21st from 10am-12pm. A collection bin is in the lobby.
Lake Forest is designated as a Title 1 Rewards School as the majority of students live below the poverty line. Congregation B’nai Torah is one of the organizations that Lake Forest Elementary School relies on to assist with school supplies each year.
