The Atlanta Office of Be’chol Lashon is delighted to launch their first in-person event with the support of Federation’s Making Jewish Places initiative and in partnership with Temple Beth Tikvah and PJ Library Atlanta. The Indian-Jewish Family Festival will celebrate Jewish diversity in Atlanta. The Indian Jewish community is one of the oldest in the world, going back to the time of King Solomon. India historically welcomed Jews who lived side by side with their neighbors. Today Indian Jews are dispersed around the world, with strongholds in Israel and the United States, including Indian-Jewish families living in Atlanta.

Archna Becker, owner and head chef at Bhojanic Indian restaurant, will serve Indian food. The family-friendly program will offer Bhangra dancing lessons, yoga, arts and craft projects, and opportunities to learn about the more than 2,000 years of Jewish life in India.
