The Passionate Preserver learned the art of canning and preserving from her mom growing up. Used as a way to capture the spring/summer harvest, it was the perfect way of enjoying the summer flavors all year round. By using safe home canning practices, she’s modernized those traditions into an assortment of jellies, jams, pie fillings, and other soft spreads. She has years of experience and lots of tips of how to get the best use of these goodies… well beyond putting on toast. Come and see for yourself… she’ll be one of the 15 artists/vendors participating in this year’s Gifts Galore & More event .
The outdoor/indoor event takes place at the home/studio/and gardens of textile designer Lynn Reiter Weinberg in East Cobb and she only opens her home to the public every other year, so you don’t want to miss it.
