HAVDALLAH HIKE
August 18, 2018 – Vickery Creek Trail @ Roswell Mill
Ever feel like you need disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the work week? Want to unwind with friends while getting back in touch with nature?

Time to put the cell phone away and get outside with the Sixth Point for a
Havdallah Hike at Vickery Creek!

Join the Sixth Point for Havdallah followed by a refreshing 3-4 mile hike on the Vickery Creek Trails at Roswell Mill. We’ll go at an easy pace to enjoy the beautiful scenery and will stay together as a group. Expect a few moderate hills, but nothing too strenuous (we’re supposed to be recharging and relaxing, remember?!)

No dinner plans? We’ve got you covered! After the hike, join the event organizers for some dinner at nearby Lucky’s Burger and Brew!
WHAT TO BRING:
1. Water!! This one is super important – it’s August… in Georgia… fluid replenishment is a thing people
2. Sturdy shoes (no flip flops/sandals!) regular athletic sneakers or hiking boots/shoes should do the trick. We’re not hiking K2 , but you’ll want something to keep your feet comfy and happy on the trails.
3. Snack/granola bar – this won’t be a strenuous hike, but if you ate an early lunch, maybe bring something to keep your energy up!
4. Happy hiker vibes! (you know, to chase away the inevitable 30% chance of rain that always looms on a Georgia summer afternoon 😉

Sixth Point organizers will provide bug spray and sunscreen for the group (although this is a sunset hike so we shouldn’t be too impacted by the rays…)

*Note: This is a dog friendly event. Please be sure to let us in the registration form if you are bringing a four-legged furry friend and if you’ll be joining us for dinner afterwards at Lucky’s in Roswell.
