The Bush Centre For Ballet, founded in 2005 by Rosalyn Bush, was established to provide an avenue for participation in ballet classes for children and adults. We support physical, emotional, and cognitive skills necessary to achieve the different levels that are taught. Children’s classes are designed to foster those skills appropriate to their age group and may incorporate respect, sharing, participation, leadership, listening, following directions, and self-discipline. This is achieved for young dancers through combining the best of various ballet techniques employed by English, Danish, French, Italian and Soviet methodologies in order to promote healthy and happy self-images in a fun, controlled class environment.
Adult classes are designed to provide an enjoyable means of achieving and maintaining healthy minds and bodies through improvement of flexibility, muscle toning, and strength building while gaining an appreciation of classical music and ballet as an art form.
