WELCOME TO BOY SCOUT TROOP 1818

Troop 1818 is a Jewish Boy Scout Troop for boys 6th – 12th grade.

Scouting activities can include, camping. hiking, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, zip lining, axe throwing, first aid training, lifesaving, rock climbing and repelling, fire building, outdoor cooking and mountain biking. But, Boy Scouts is much bigger than the obvious “fun” stuff. We also focus on leadership skills, ethics, morals, character building, teamwork, personal financial responsibility, physical fitness and community service.

Scout philosophies like respecting and protecting nature and service projects mesh beautifully with our Jewish teaching of Tzedaka and Tikun Olam.

We are a “Kosher style” troop at our functions. We tend to attract families that are reform, conservative and unaffiliated. We draw from OTP, North Fulton, Cobb County, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Johns Creek, Alpharetta and parts of Decatur. Many of our activities are scheduled around North Fulton.
