The gallery is owned and operated by Robert Ahlers and his wife Christy Ogletree Ahlers whose collective 25 years of experience in the Atlanta estate and auction industry forms the backbone of the company. The partners are recognized for expanding regional interest in the industry, fostering an environment of integrity and honesty, and for introducing an innovative brand that offers turn-key service for any estate.
The gallery is generously housed in two buildings on Miami Circle – our showroom and auction floor comprising about 8,000 square feet, and our warehouse and offices comprising about 17,000 square feet. These spaces allow optimal flexibility for pre-auction storage of estates as well as prime location for previewing items to the Southeast’s most elite buyers.
The gallery presents between 8-10 auctions each year featuring a diverse assortment of items and collections including rare objects, fine art, estate jewelry, vintage automobiles, fine silver, collectibles, antique furniture, and rare maps and books. Our offerings come from leading collectors and private estates, as well as deaccessioned works from museums. Our live auctions are held in Atlanta but are attended via phone and internet by bidders from across the nation and world. Each sale is broadcast on three live bidding platforms – Invaluable.com, LiveAuctioneers,com, and Bidsquare.com – as well as on our proprietary bidding platform – Bid.AandOauctions.com – and our award winning smart phone app.
Ahlers & Ogletree Auction Gallery is part of The Ahlers Group, one of the largest antiques dealers in the Atlanta area having a consortium of companies dealing in fine antiques and estate liquidation.
