Our goal has always been to provide customers with excellent service at competitive prices.
a plus, inc. is a private corporation owned by Peyton Alexander, Stacy Morris and Peter Umbaugh who have been in the business since 1977. a plus, inc. is well respected in our industry. Peyton has served in the past as national president for the Insulation Contractors Association of America (ICAA). He has participated in the Association at the state level as well. He received the Key Man Award, the Top Hammer Award, served on the ICAA Board of Directors and was Technical Committee Co-Chair.

If a problem arises our sales force is trained to take care of business immediately and get any problem solved posthaste.
Insulation is a major part of our business. We serve both single and multi-family residential markets. We use batts, blown, WallSpray, Spray Foam and spray-on (K13) applications to provide both thermal and acoustical insulation services along with expandable foam and caulk products for air infiltration. Our sales force is trained to make energy recommendations in existing homes as well as the new construction market to help lower utility bills and increase the comfort level.
We are an approved Georgia Power earth¢ents contractor. We are also BPI certified and can do the blower door tests and duct blaster tests that are required on most new residential construction.
We carry a complete line of Wood, Gas, and Electric Fireplaces by Majestic and Lennox Hearth Products. There are many makes and models of Fireplace Systems as well as various choices of accessories to dress them up! We provide Gas Starters, Outside Combustion Air Kits, and Metal Flashing which includes custom made Pans, Cones, and Shrouds. We also stock many styles of Glass Doors and Gas Logs. Marble and Slate are very popular and we stock a variety of colors and sizes. And what would a Fireplace be without a Mantel? We stock many beautiful Wood and Plaster Mantels. a plus, inc. is very proud of our unique and very beautiful Plaster Mantels which we have manufactured in-house since 1988.
a plus, inc. also offers to our customers a complete selection of Amarr Garage Doors. Amarr manufactures a full line of steel and wood garage doors designed to suit a variety of tastes. Although many traditionalists prefer real wood, the handsome looks and low maintenance that a steel door provides has increased the popularity of steel doors among many homeowners.
a plus, inc. repairs and cleans existing gutters. We also install new gutters of various shapes and sizes, from 6″ K style aluminum to 6″ copper half round to commercial box gutters. With a variety of colors to choose from, there is sure to be a color that matches what you want.
