Join us for our first-ever Virtual Family Seder hosted by Rabbi Rosenthal and Brooke Rosenthal! We hope you will join us for an engaging and meaningful Passover Seder experience, even in the midst of this difficult time of separation and isolation. Although it’s going to be one contiguous experience, each hour is set up to appeal and engage at different ages:
5:30 – 6:30 pm (0 – 9 years old)Hands-on early Seder rituals: washing hands, Seder plate, eating the spring vegetables, breaking and hiding the Matza, and a special overview of the Passover story and special rituals therein.
6:30 – 7:45 pm (9 years old and up)A deeper dive into the Magid section: exploring the stories, ideas, and rituals of the Seder and discussion as we make our way from slavery to freedom.
The entire experience will end at 7:45 pm with the lighting of our holidays candles. Stay for the whole thing or just a little while (This is your family Passover… make it what you need it to be!).
No RSVP required – just Zoom in!
Please have a Seder plate for your family so they can do their own pointing, dipping, and eating as we make our way through the experience (a simple Seder meal checklist). A Haggadah is great to have but not required.
We look forward to connecting with you in a new, re-imagined celebration of Passover!+ More... - Less...
