Who is Banksy? Or more accurately, what is Banksy? According to the internet, “Banksy” is an anonymous England-based street artist, political activist, and film director whose satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humor with graffiti executed in a distinctive stenciling technique. His seemingly random art installations regularly make headlines every year, and many illustrate the Israel-Palestine conflict in a way no artist has been able to before.

Join us as we discuss Banksy’s growth as an artist, how he found his unique voice, and his trajectory towards supporting Israel.

  • Go beyond common knowledge of the most famous street artist of all time.
  • Learn to interpret key elements of Banksy’s unique style and strategy.

For his work, he was presented the Defender of Israel award by One Israel Fund, been honored by Prime Minister Netanyahu through Taglit, been named 36 under 36 by the Jerusalem Post, one of the 100 most influential Jewish minds by Algemeiner and received the key to the city of Sderot. He most recently spoke at the AIPAC Policy Conference Plenary immediately after PM Netanyahu to an audience of 18,000 people. Craig got his start in the Jewish and pro-Israel field when, in his early 20s, he helped a Holocaust survivor write his memoirs.
