Dr. Jennifer Rivlin is a leadership coach, doctor of organizational psychology, and expert in mindfulness and emotional intelligence. She’ll share some of the latest research supporting how we can learn new habits of mind and behavior, at any age. Through training our attention, we can change our brains and create emotional states supportive of calm and peace even in the midst of tumultuous times. In addition, these same tools help us build awareness around our own implicit biases, thus helping us act with more compassion and understanding toward others. She’ll introduce you to some of the practices that you can begin to do, today, to create more calm, peace, and resilience to support you in your leadership and life.Presentation followed by Q&A Dr. Jennifer Rivlin is a Ph.D. of industrial & organizational psychology from Georgia Tech with a passion for leadership that includes several years working in leadership development for Fortune 500 companies, founding and running an entrepreneur accelerator, and teaching organizational leadership in public and university settings. After a major life disruption in 2016, Jennifer began her own contemplative practices of mindfulness meditation, yoga, journaling and more which brought her great relief and an entirely different perspective on leadership and life.
