Join Mark Hetfield of HIAS and Paedia Mixon of New American Pathways for a discussion about the global refugee and asylum crises.

Founded in 1881 to assist Jews fleeing pogroms in Russia and Eastern Europe, HIAS now supports all who have fled oppression, regardless of ethnicity, nationality, or religion. HIAS’ work with refugees and asylum seekers spans the globe, from Kenya to Ecuador to the thousands of refugees resettled each year here in the United States.

New American Pathways is built around a vision that promotes safety and stability, self-sufficiency, success, and service for individual refugees and refugee families in Georgia. They offer distinct programs that focus on jobs, education, cultural integration, individual and female empowerment, building strong families, and civic engagement.
