Join Shalom Bayit to hear Israeli activist Marva Zohar, through narration and poetry, share her experience of healing from the trauma of sexual assault. She will recount her own experiences and those of others and share her vision of rebirth and healing, which directs her in her present journey to support the “Land Where Women Heal.”

Lunch will be served. 

About Marva Zohar

Marva Zohar is a midwife, poet, and feminist activist. She is the founder of the Israeli NGO Ohela (www.ohelaenglish.org), whose agship project is the creation of the Land Where Women Heal – a rehabilitative village for women recovering from trauma in the wake of sexual assault, embedded in a sustainable community fostering women’s physical and spiritual wellness and wisdom.
