Shine A Light is proud to announce a partnership with the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta this holiday season, with the goal of sharing culture to find common ground and combat antisemitism and other forms of hate in America. The inaugural series of events is a part of Shine A Light’s larger initiative, working with key municipalities to develop city-wide programming that addresses antisemitism in collaboration with local governance, community groups and interfaith leaders.
“Repairing the World: Stories from the Tree of Life” Film Screening: This thought-provoking film explores Pittsburgh’s powerful community response to hate following the deadliest antisemitic attack in U.S. history. Artists 4 Israel Art Mural Installation (December 12): Artists 4 Israel – a nonprofit advocacy organization that works with artists in all artistic media to educate people worldwide about Israel – will be creating a collaborative art mural installation at the center that showcases the aftermath of The Temple Bombing. This activation will also highlight the remarkable support from Black community artists, renowned for their graffiti and street art.
