Join us for the Second Annual Dr. Jerome and Betty Berman Memorial Concert, Sharing a Love of Music. Enjoy an inspirational afternoon of spirited music presented by the daughters of the late Dr. Jerome and Betty Berman (Ellen, Karen, and Sally) in conjunction with AA’s Cultural Arts Concert Series. Tell your friends, bring loved ones, and celebrate the memory of Jerome and Betty Berman, two people who adored music and whose lives brought joy to so many.

The afternoon will feature an all-Beethoven concert featuring David Coucheron (ASO Concertmaster, violin), Charae Krueger (cello), Julie Coucheron (piano), and William Ransom (piano). They will perform the following pieces:

  • Sonata #5 for Violin and Piano, Op. 24 (“Spring”)
  • Concerto for Violin, Cello, Piano, Orch, Op. 56 (“Triple”–2 piano, violin, cello arr.)
  • Symphony #5, Op. 67 (2-piano arr.)

This event is free and open to the community, but registration is required.

Donations to AA’s Cultural Arts Fund are appreciated.

For questions about registration, please contact Miriam Habif Gelfond (mhabif@aasynagogue.org; 404.603.5749).

In an effort to maintain safety in a rapidly-changing Covid environment, we now require registration for all in-person events held at AA Synagogue. Whether registering online or over the phone, registrants 16 years or older will be required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test result prior to the event. (Negative PCR test results are only valid for 48 hours and, therefore, must be shown at the door on the day of the event.) A mask must be worn at all times when inside the building.
