We’d love it if you and your community would join our Jewish contingent in the Atlanta Pride Parade on October 9 at noon – we want everyone to know that Atlanta’s Jewish community shows UP for Pride! The parade route is 2.5 miles, and we will have a float for those who can’t walk the distance. We will be in continuous communication leading up to the event about COVID precautions, security, and other logistics.
SOJOURN folks will get to ROW D starting at 10:30 AM The parade steps off at noon! The parade takes a while to get moving so we may stand around for an hour, so feel free to arrive at any point.
The theme for our float this year is Xanadu! Come dressed in your best rainbow gear, OR in the style of the theme (or both!). Roller skaters are welcome!
The parade is about 2.5 miles and takes about 2 hours to complete. Those who need to can sit and ride on the float. We ask that everyone riding on the float please wear a mask.
After the parade, we’ll all head to the SOJOURN Pride festival booth! Look for the rainbow Xanadu rollerskate balloon to follow us through the park to our booth.
