After last year’s musical weekend sucess, Congregation B’nai Torah presents A Pitch Perfect Weekend The Sequel featuring Kol Zimra Spirited and Spiritual A Cappella Singers! Kol Zimra will lead many musical services and workshops throughout the weekend beginning with Friday evening’s musical Shabbat services followed by a delicious dinner sponsored by Sisterhood!

About Kol Zimra Spirited and Spiritual A Cappella Singers

Bringing together professional Jewish musicians, educators and cantors from across the country, Kol Zimra creates joyous and meaningful experiences of Jewish music. On Shabbat, they bring Jewish prayer to a new level with a capella takes on the classic liturgy that invite all to join in. At other times, they add musical accompaniment to get an audience on its feet!

The Agenda

Friday, January 24 at 6:00 PM – Kol Zimra will lead a musical, magical FAMILY FRIENDLY Shabbat service followed by Shabbat dinner sponsored by Sisterhood. Music lovers of all ages are welcome! Dinner pricing is $18 per adult and $12 per child. Please note earlier Shabbat service start time. 

Saturday, January 25

9:00 AM – Kol Zimra will create a uniquely spiritual Shabbat morning service and will sing during Kiddush.

5:00 PM – Mincha service followed by a soulful Shaleshudis led by Kol Zimra.

6:30 PM – Kol Zimra will hold a unique program open to all members of the Atlanta community who have unique developmental abilities. We are proud to present this inclusive event.​​​​​​​

7:30 PM – Kol Zimra will perform an all-ages Havdalah concert. This concert is open to the community. There is a suggested donation of $5. Through a special partnership with our Inclusion Committee, the Special Friends group will be our guests for the concert and will be featured in one of the songs. There will be a delicious ice cream social following the concert.​​​​​​​ 

Sunday, January 26 – Kol Zimra will lead workshops for our Religious School students. At 11:00 AM, Religious School parents are invited to see the students perform songs showcasing what they learned.
