MLK Day of Giving: Chesed Bag Creation for the Homeless
Join us on Monday, January 20th, at Chabad Intown for a meaningful and fun community event to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Together, we’ll create Chesed bags filled with essential items and warm notes of encouragement for those in need—a beautiful expression of kindness and unity.
In Jewish tradition, Chesed (loving-kindness) teaches us the importance of caring for others with compassion and generosity, reflecting the divine image in every human being. By assembling and distributing these care bags, we embody Dr. King’s vision of justice and togetherness while staying true to Jewish values of giving back and healing the world.
