Mitzvah Makers: Baking for Good

December 8, 2019 Atlanta Free
PJ Library- Baking for Good

Join PJ Library’s PJ Our Way families for an afternoon of baking muffins for a local homeless shelter. For children ages 8 – 12. Register here.

Baking for Good is inspired by National Muffin Day, celebrated in February and co-founded by local Atlantan and co-founder of Tradition Kitchens, Julia Levy. For 5 years, thousands of volunteer bakers have gathered to bake muffins for people experiencing homelessness. These volunteers have provided over 15,000 muffins to people in 35 cities and raised thousands of dollars for causes related to homelessness.
