JCC Kristallnacht Ceremony

All are invited to a Kristallnacht commemoration ceremony at the JCC which will feature Mohammed Al Samawi, author of The Fox Hunt. Born in Yemen, Mohammed Al Samawi was a devout Muslim raised to think of Christians and Jews as his enemies. At 23, he secretly received a copy of the Bible, which cast doubt on everything he’d previously believed. The brief ceremony will also include a performance by The Weber School Chorus and the lighting of the six torches. The program will take place at the beautiful Besser Holocaust Memorial Garden.

Mr. Al Samawi is speaking at the MJCCA Book Festival at 7:30 pm.
