DNA Testing for Beginners with Peggy Mosinger Freedman NA

Testing has become fashionable! It’s a favorite gift from the younger generation back to their parents. But should you take one? What does it mean? What can you do with the information after you receive it? Peggy Mosinger Freedman is a founding member and past president of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Georgia. She will talk about the ethics, the biology, and the mathematics of DNA testing. She will discuss the different tests available and the different companies that do the testing. And if you decide to take a DNA test, Peggy will describe some of the tools that are available to analyze your results for genealogical research.
