Spend MLK Day in a Jewish way! Join Federation’s Mitzvah Day for a variety of community service projects around Atlanta.

Come together with your community for your community. Choose your project and make an impact!

(FULL) Hillels of Georgia | 735 Gatewood Road, Atlanta 30322 (Emory area) | 9:30-11:30 am
Make an arts and crafts project that will be donated to seniors in our community, jam out to new music from the Atlanta Jewish Music Festival or do a fun project with PJ Library. All ages welcome; intended for families with young children.

(FULL) Atlanta Community Food Bank | 732 Joseph E Lowery Blvd NW, Atlanta 30318 (West Midtown) | 1-4 pm
Join ACFB to sort and organize donated goods and learn about Federation’s partnership with ACFB for the Hunger Walk. Participants must be 8 years of age or older.

(FULL) Berman Commons | 2026 Womack Road, Dunwoody 30338 (Dunwoody) | 2-4 pm
Together with the residents of the Berman Commons, you’ll have an opportunity to make PB&J sandwiches and baked goods that will be donated to local shelters and fire and police stations. All ages welcome.
