A thrilling new spin on the Jewish spook house niche, this clever, darkly funny Danish chiller blends the paranormal with religious mythology in a queer romance. Sparks fly when fading actress Maja (Josephine Park) falls for Leah (Ellie Kendrick), a young Jewish academic from North London. Leah’s mysterious seizure interrupts their nascent bond, prompting a chilly homecoming to her insular Hasidic Stamford Hill enclave.
