About the Film
This adroit, raw depiction of family strife between a Polish-born refugee-turned-self-made-success and his striving Hollywood filmmaker son, is set against the fast-changing financial world in the throes of modernization. The currency of human transactions, on and off the trading floor, is poignantly portrayed as filmmaker Jordan Melamed and his imperious father, Leo, the former chairman of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, struggle to get beyond their fraught past.
